THE FOUNDATION
Rettifiche Resca is a team of people highly specialised in precision mechanics, who apply data analysis and professionalism throughout the production cycle. Rettifiche Resca srl was founded in 1973, by its founder Guido Resca as “Guido Resca s.n.c.” as an internal / external grinding workshop, over the years the company evolved consolidating on the Bologna area, and following the demands of the market linked to the speed reducer, it began to carry out the grinding of worm gears.

GROWTH
This activity with great intuition of the founder launches the company in various sectors that will be strategic for the future: screws for winches, automatic gates, screw compressors (compressed air rotors), trapezoidal screws, variable pitch worm gears for the automotive sector. The latter will become the thrust lever to increase the transition to automatic systems without control already in 1990.

EVOLUTION
The great drive towards evolution led the two sons Michele and Alessandro to begin grinding gears in 1996, which began at that time with the insertion of some SAMPUTENSILI machines.

A NEW PARTNERSHIP
With the intention of looking for a type of machine on the market that would allow a further technological leap, in 2006 the first KAPP 300 was purchased and a partnership with KAPP NILES GmbH & Co. began. Collaboration that has allowed us to present ourselves to even the most demanding customers.

GRIND WHEEL DRESSING SERVICE
For internal flexibility needs, a grinding wheel profiling machine was inserted. This has allowed us to have profiled grinding wheels of any module, number of principles and pressure angle in a very short time. Later on it has become a third-party service also for our customers.

PRODUCTION OF FINISHED PRODUCTS
Following the change in market demands we realized that more and more customers needed to receive a finished product and no longer the individual processing on behalf of third parties. So in 2014 Rettifiche Resca established a division of the company dedicated to the creation of finished products to customer design

EXPANSION OF THE TESTING DEPARTMENT
With the increase in the number of machines and the finished product made in Resca, it was decided to expand the testing department by remaking all the offices and inserting a Zeiss three-dimensional measuring machine.

PRODUCTIVITY MONITORING
With the increase in production and plants, it was decided to monitor the performance of the machines in an automated way so as to be able to accurately analyse any leaks, improve performance and try to further optimise all production. In this way we are able to offer our customers the best product at the best price.

PLANT EXPANSION
The constant growth of the company has led us to have the need for more space both for the storage of the product and for the insertion of new plants and the reorganization of the company layout. Therefore the new warehouse adjacent to the historic headquarters was built.

NEW FACILITY
Construction of the new plant adjacent to the 900 square metre historic headquarters, and the addition of turning, toothing, deburring and diametral grinding systems to complete the gear construction cycle

RESCA SPARE PARTS
Resca Spare Parts enters the market. For years we have been studying the truck spare parts product. In 2021 we entered the market and began to sell the truck spare parts product under our brand.

FOREIGN MARKET
We take part in the first foreign trade fairs of this field: Automechanika Frankfurt and Automechanika Dubai. In this was we started putting the Resca Spare Parts product in the foreign market.

This led to major collaborations around the world for Resca.

NEW WAREHOUSE
Purchase of the new adjacent warehouse, of about 3500 square meters dedicated to the storage of finished products, and shipments of aftermarket material.

Purchase of a Modula automated warehouse dedicated to the storage of products.

FOREIGN BRANCHES
Given the expanding market, the first branches have been established in Germany, Benelux and France.
